Online form of traditional chess: Flash Chess

A board game played between two players; the main purpose of the game is to attack the opponent’s king in such a manner, that the king cannot escape or prevent being attacked in subsequent moves.

The game is played on a board with eight rows and eight columns of squares each called the chessboard. All the pieces called the chess pieces available with each player have to be arranged in a pre designated manners on the chess board before starting the play. All the pieces move in a prescribed and pre defined fashion and can only be moved to an empty square. If a particular square is occupied by the opponent’s piece and if according to the playing conditions, a particular piece can reach that square, then the opponent’s piece will be removed from the board, or it may also be called as capturing the piece. Basic rule of the game is that the chess pieces have to move forward on to the squares occupied by the opponent’s pieces by removing or capturing them.

Flash chess also works on the same principal and follows similar patterns; the exception being that it is played online and is has a much faster pace. The players have the options of playing against the computer, which is generally the case, but games can also be organized against other players online. Players have the options of playing regular games on the internet or can participate in online flash chess tournaments. To make the games more interesting, the use of 3D platform base software’s is also used so that the users can enjoy an ideal and exceptional gaming experience.
